Lyon starlet Cherki names Real Madrid as his dream club

Lyon’s Rayan Cherki might have given a transfer hint after naming Real Madrid as the club he’ll like to play for.

Rayan Cherki is the latest protegee to emerge from the Lyon ranks and the 16-year-old has already revealed his desire to play for Real Madrid.

The teenager has already made appearances for Lyon this term and has impressed with some fine performances.

Cherki has already totaled 165 minutes for Lyon and is expected to evolve fully as a first team player in the nearest future.

We already reported that Barcelona, Juventus and Real Madrid are already in a three way battle to secure Cherki’s services.

He is expected to make a move to a European heavyweight soon enough, following the likes of Anthony Martial, Samuel Umtiti and Karim Benzema to progress from the Lyon Ranks.

Cherki made clear in no uncertain terms where his ambitions lie when asked where he would like to play in the future.

“At Real [Madrid],” he told Lyon’s official channel as h/t by Marca.

He also made his intention known of winning the Ballon d’Or in the nearest future. At his age and talent already, he could be well on track to so if he maintains a calm head.
