When Real Madrid wants to sign a player, in this case, Paul Pogba, Manchester United doesn’t stand a chance in negotiating.

There is an ongoing drama happening around Paul Pogba and his next career step. The juiciest transfer news come from Real Madrid, and it is clear the Spanish team is very keen on Pogba.

During the last season, Pogba scored 13 goals and had nine assists for United, numbers which showed a distrust from the team. However, Machester is settling their own transfer score this summer, and are not happy to give up Pogba just yet.

Aside from Real Madrid, another club expressing its interest in Pogba is the Italian giant, Juventus.

Shedding light on the matter is Claud Makelele. Makelele opened up on all-things Real Madrid and commented on Zidane’s desires to sign Pogba.

“Of course. Zidane values this type of players. He knows how to do everything and that is difficult,” Makelele said.

“His potential is impressive, but it will be difficult for Manchester United to let him leave because he is a symbol.”

“He has character, personality, game… many things. And that’s always good for a team like Real Madrid.”

Makelele, who has been an essential player for Chelsea back in the day, is now the head coach of Belgian club Eupen. Not afraid to discuss Florentino Perez as well, Makelele noticed the chairman can buy whoever he sees fit for the team.

“Florentino can get what he wants,” Makelele explained, as per Express.

“He has achieved many things for the club, for the country, and for world football. He is a key person in the history of Real Madrid.”

To Pogba, it would be fatal to stay at a club he cannot help anymore. So, a move to Santiago Bernabeu may be the best thing for him, if United are willing to play ball.
