Mexican wonderkid Hirving Lozano has been loving his time at Napoli, but he was close to signing for another Italian Lega Serie A side, AC Milan.
This summer transfer window Napoli signed Mexican wonderkid Hirving “Chucky” Lozano.
But another team in the Italian Lega Serie A wanted his services: AC Milan.
“We looked at him and thought about buying him,” Rossoneri director Paolo Maldini told TUDN.
“We talked to his agent [Raiola], but in the end, there was a problem concerning his position on the field.”
Maldini explained: “We played with a 4-3-3 last season, the perfect formation for him, but now we play in a different way.
“He was an option for us over the summer, but he made the decision to go to another big club like Napoli, and the factor of working with Ancelotti, who is a maestro, helps him play in his best and natural position.”
