Mallorca suffered a hard beating last night as Barcelona breezed past them with a 5-2 win at the Camp Nou behind Lionel Messi’s hat-trick.
This was the third consecutive match decided by Messi.
He dominated against Borussia Dortmund, Atletico Madrid, and now Mallorca.
However, Vicente Moreno – Mallorca’s manager – wasn’t impressed.
Messi and him entered a verbal war at one point.
Asked about it after the match, Moreno had something to say:
“There are some players who are in a bubble and you can’t reason with them,” he said, according to Marca.
After the Tite incident, this is the second time this season we see Messi getting into it with the opposition managers.
The Argentinian looks like a different beast this season. A well-deserved Ballon d’Or only seems to drive his motivation even further.
