Manchester City fan has tried to wave off racist allegations against him after being arrested.

The Premier League saw the 179th Manchester derby at the Etihad earlier. Goals from Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial ensured that Manchester United walk away with all three points.

During the match, Fred was subjected to racist slurs from the Man City fans. The Brazilian received monkey gestures and chants as he went on to take his team’s corner. The City fans also threw objects at him as he approached near the corner flag.

Recently, Mirror reported that Anthony Burke, the man behind the unhealth gestures, has been arrested. Anthony Burke also denied any racist allegations saying that it was just a coincidence. The 41-year claimed that he was relatively inactive during the match.

“Listen, I’m only racist c*** because I had a screenshot that made me look it,” Anthony Burke claimed.

“However I ain’t racist, watch the match half of it was me with me putting my hands in my pants,” he added.

“Bullsh** not ar*** I know the truth and I’ve already made an appointment to speak to the police which I did so think what you like,” the Man City fan declared.
