The Premier League top-four battle will be settled on the final matchday as Manchester United, Chelsea and Leicester City all still aim for Champions League.

Only two teams have yet been able to book a place at the top European table for the next season – Liverpool and Manchester City.

Liverpool have already become the 2019/20 Premier League champions while Manchester City, who had their two-year Champions League ban overturned earlier, have nailed down the second place.

The competition for the remaining two slots is essentially between Manchester United, Chelsea, and Leicester City. Following are the odds, as reported by Evening Standard, for their success in the top-four battle.

Chelsea were humiliated 5-3 at the hands of Liverpool on Wednesday. However, they still sit at 4th place in the league table. With their two competitors playing against each other on the final day, they need just a point against Wolves. The odds for them for securing a top-four finish is 1/10.

Manchester United jumped over Leicester City into the third spot following the 1-1 draw against West Ham United. Even so, they are still tied on points with Chelsea and are benefited by a better goal difference against them. A draw would suffice for Man United to secure Champions League qualification. Depending on Chelsea’s result, they could also retain the third spot. They are at 1/4 odds for a successful top-four race.

In the earlier parts of the season, Leicester City looked a strong contender in achieving Champions League football for the next season. But their dip in form since the return of football last month has seen them drop out of top four. However, the Champions League dream is still attainable, provided they beat Man United on Sunday. Should Chelsea lose to Wolves, a draw would also be enough. The odds for them in this intense battle is 7/5.
