Man United face another blow with Martial injury

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has informed that Anthony Martial is still doubtful to play in the upcoming match against Everton.

Manchester United will be looking to edge nearer to a Champions League finish when then meet Everton later tonight.

Bruno Fernandes’ arrival has sprung the Red Devils back to life and they have been enjoying a good run of form lately. Following Chelsea’s slip up last night, a victory for Man United will see them cut the point gap to just one from the fourth place.

Speaking in the pre-match press conference, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is hoping that his team can continue their form against Everton. The Norwegian also listed the absentees while assuring that Man United’s squad has enough depth to overcome their injury concerns.

“This week’s been a good one so far. Everton is a tough game, an important game, so all eyes on that one for us,” he told the club’s official website.

“Marcus [Rashford], Paul [Pogba], Anthony [Martial] and Lee [Grant], they’re the injuries we’ve got. We’ve got a big and strong squad.

“No, we don’t know yet [if Anthony Martial will play]. We have to try, we hope, to get a fitness test done before the game. Odion [Ighalo] did really well in his place so we’re well-equipped.”
