Sky Sports pundit Sue Smith feels Manchester United will secure the signing of Josh King before the end of the transfer window.
Marcus Rashford was ruled out at least until the next month after suffering multiple injuries in the FA Cup match against Wolves earlier this month. Rashford, with 14 goals in the Premier League, has been Man United’s most prolific player this campaign.
The 22-year old’s injury is a major concern for manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. And, therefore, he is looking to get his hands on a suitable player to fill Rashford’s void for the time being.
Man United have been linked with a deadline day swoop for Bournemouth striker Joshua King. And Sky Sports pundit Sue Smith feels confident that the deal will go through.
“I think it’s a great move for him personally and I think that would be something you could see potentially happening,” she said as per Daily Star.
“He’s versatile, he can play in that nine on his own. He’s proven in the Premier League, a proven goalscorer. So, he’s not going to need that time to adapt. You just think Joshua King is just a striker that fits Manchester United. That fits Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
“I think he would be a perfect signing for them.”
