Manchester United have confirmed that they have reached an agreement with Ajax over the sale of defender Daley Blind
The Netherlands international has been deemed surplus to requirements by head coach Jose Mourinho at Old Trafford and is now set to make a return to his former club in Amsterdam this summer in a reported deal of £18.5m.
Blind left Ajax in 2014 to join United, but has fallen out of favour under Mourinho with just four Premier League starts to his name in the past year.
The 28-year-old is now expected to sign a four-year contract at Ajax.
In his four years at United, Blind scored six goals in his 141 appearances and won the FA Cup, EFL Cup and the Europa League.
