Manchester United are reportedly set to target Robert Lewandowski from Bayern Munich in the summer

Lewandowski’s future at Bayern has been heavily debated recently with rumours spreading that the Polish international is set to leave the Bundesliga leaders in pursuit of Champions League glory.

Lewandowski increased speculation on his own future, by hiring Pini Zahavi as his new agent. Zahavi is renowned for playing a key role in the world record transfer of Neymar’s move from Barcelona to Paris Saint-Germain last summer.

Real Madrid are believed to have held a long-term interest in Lewandowski, but Kicker has reported that it is now United who are leading the chase for the highly rated forward.

The German publication has also reported that both Real and Chelsea are keeping a close eye on the situation at the Allianz Arena.

Since joining Bayern in 2014 on a free transfer, Lewandowski has scored an impressive 140 goals in just 182 games.
