Colombian defender Yerry Mina who is negotiating his exit from Barcelona has Manchester United as another destination apart from Olympique Lyon.
Just as RMC from France has confirmed, it’s not only Olympique Lyon the club interested in Yerry Mina, Mourinho’s Manchester United is also interested in the Colombian defender for this summer transfer window.
Mina became Colombia’s most valued player during the last World Cup celebrated in Russia, in which he scored three very important headers that made his national team dream with the possibility of getting far in the World Cup but not even these performances were enough to convince Barcelona that Mina is the right man to stay in the club.
For some reason we still can’t figure out, the FC Barcelona board of directors prefers selling Mina to the highest bidder despite knowing that the player wants to remain in the club.
The first offer that arrived according to Diario Sport is one from French side Olympique Lyonnais, which is a €35 million bid that the club is still considering and waiting to see if another club with a better offer comes for the Colombian defender.
After waiting for a few days it finally happened, according to French outlet RMC, Jose Mourinho is very interested in signing Mina for Manchester United and is preparing an offer that is better than Lyon’s as it would be just below the €40 million mark.
At first, when the player was informed of OL’s offer, his first reaction was to reject it but now that a big club like United have expressed their interest, things have made a drastic turn.
