The full-back became a fan favourite during his eight-year spell in the Manchester United defence.
Evra won five Premier League titles, three EFL Cups and a Champions League among the 15 honours won. He was also the focal point down the United flanks for years, with the club failing to find a successor since his 2014 exit.
The closest player to succeed Evra has been Luke Shaw, who may have succeeded had it not been for his injuries.
The Frenchman, who hung up his boots last July, is currently earning his coaching badges over at Old Trafford.
