Aaron Wan-Bissaka was one of Manchester United’s three new signings in the summer transfer window along with Harry Maguire and Daniel James.

The 22-year-old was a top priority for manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer following a breakthrough campaign at Crystal Palace last term. He caught the Norwegian’s eye through his athleticism and aggressiveness, which is a valuable trait in the Premier League.

Although Maguire and James have comfortably overshadowed him for most of this season. However, Wan-Bissaka has quietly delivered some strong defensive displays and did so again on Monday.

The full-back even answered critics over his lack of attacking threat by delivering a pinpoint cross for Anthony Martial to head in United’s opener.

If Wan-Bissaka can keep showing this side to his game, then he will surely become of Europe’s best full-backs.
