After some time of renovations, Manchester United unveiled a necessary Ronaldo publicity update at the front of Old Trafford’s entrance.
Cristiano Ronaldo’s return couldn’t be completed until Manchester United made that one last necessary publicity update to their facade. The Portuguese star’s return to Old Trafford obviously needed to get the proper treatment as the biggest star within the squad. No other player inside the club would oppose to what Manchester United decided to do. To those who have visited Old Trafford, you might be familiar with the giant banner at the very entrance of the stadium.
There is a huge image of all the players giving everybody a warm welcome. There was already an inclusion of players such as Raphael Varane or Jadon Sancho. But Cristiano Ronaldo was a last-minute addition that forced the team’s publicity team to work extra hours in order to make the adjustments. As it was expected, the legendary player was placed at the very front of the picture with an evident special place above the rest of the stars within the squad. Nobody will complain about this decision.
Ronaldo is ready to make his Old Trafford return.
All Manchester United supporters are counting the days for the big day next Saturday, which is when the Red Devils face Newcastle United. It’s still unclear if Ronaldo will play from the start but knowing Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. There’s a big chance he will use his biggest star from the start of the game. They simply can’t afford to not start making an instant impact in the Premier League with the impressive roster they have.
There are some players who might get some rest from the international break such as Paul Pogba. However, Cristiano Ronaldo came back early from that trip and he had enough time to get enough activity ahead of the historic day. At least we will for sure get two seasons of Cristiano Ronaldo playing at the top level in all of England’s most famous pitches. The entire country has been waiting for this day to come since Cristiano left to keep making history at Real Madrid. He truly left as a legend and he returned as a football deity.
