Sergej Milinkovic-Savic is getting closer to agreeing a move to Manchester United with reports claiming that the Red Devils are willing to go all out for the Serb.
According to reports, Solskjaer’s side are going to make an offer for the midfielder that will effectively put PSG out of the race for his signature.
Often touted but never having left, Milinkovic-Savic is likely to leave Lazio this summer after spending four years at the Italian capital.
Last May, he was rumoured to be leaving for Juventus. However, the Old Lady never came up with an offer. This time around, it appears that the player’s signature is a two-horse race between the likes of Manchester United and PSG. Both teams are in dire need of a box to box midfielder and Milinkovic-Savic fits the profile.
Former sporting director, Antero Henrique was pretty keen on bringing the Serbian to Parc des Princes. And now that Leonardo has replaced him, Milinkovic-Savic is still attracting interest from the reigning French champions.
But it appears that Les Parisiens will be forced into looking elsewhere for a player of this profile. Skysports claims that the Red Devils have already prepared an offer of 80 million Euros for the player. And though the offer is far off from the player’s valuation, it is double the offer that PSG have made to Lazio.
Milinkovic-Savic on the other hand, is much more keen on joining Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side where he would have a chance to earn a bigger salary and become a cornerstone of the team’s rebuild.
Moreover, the allure of playing at the Theatre of Dreams is reportedly too hard to resist which means that the Red Devils have the advantage.
