Manchester United transfer updates

With the preseason tour just a few days away, Manchester United are looking to finalize their transfer market dealings to give new players ample time to adjust.

Manchester United have been linked with moves for almost every big player available this summer. Following a poor 2018/19 Premier League and Champions League campaign, the Red Devils need to rebuild. A lot of areas need to be improved and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wants his squad to be finalized as early as possible.

Wan-Bissaka trail still on

According to the Express, Manchester United are still eager to sign the right back from Crystal Palace. With Ashley Young nowhere near the standards of a United player any longer, Wan-Bissaka is seen as a great replacement. However, Crystal Palace are demanding crazy money for the Englishman which means that this deal is still far from its conclusion.

Midfielder a priority

While the right back position is a conundrum, one cannot deny the club’s need to find a replacement for Ander Herrera and quite possibly, Paul Pogba. The likes of Sean Longstaff and Adrien Rabiot have been touted with moves to Old Trafford and both men are definitely great long-term options. Rabiot is set to become a free agent this summer and United are contemplating a lucrative deal for the Frenchman.

Youri Tielemans to replace Pogba?

Manchester United might end up selling Paul Pogba. The midfielder has already declared his willingness to seek a new challenge so the Red Devils might be willing to cut their losses. And Tielemans seems to be a perfect replacement. The young Belgian shone for Leicester on loan last season and Monaco could be willing to do business.

Lukaku nearing exit

Reports in Italy claim that Internazionale are going to finally get their man. The big Belgian has fallen down the pecking order and is looking for a move away from Old Trafford.
