Manchester Untied transfer updates

With the clock ticking, Manchester United are looking to seal multiple deals as soon as possible but will have to do a lot of bargaining for that to happen.

As things stand, Manchester United are in dire need of fresh faces at Old Trafford. With Ole Gunnar Solskjaer now the permanent man in charge of changing things, new players are bound to come. Similarly, several players are likely to leave. The club is currently locked in negotiations with Crystal Palace over the transfer of Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

The young full back had a great breakthrough season for the Eagles and would command a hefty fee. Manchester United’s initial bid was declined but the Red Devils haven’t given up.

According to the Independent, a new centre back is another key area that needs to be covered. Solskjaer was initially keen on bringing Kalidou Koulibaly from Napoli. However, the asking fee is way too much so Harry Maguire is once again being observed. The England international is currently at Leicester City who would also play hard to get as much cash out of the deal as they can.

David De Gea’s future remains unclear. And Manchester United are not going to play the waiting game for long. The Red Devils are keen to sort this area out and could make a swift move for Atletico Madrid man, Jan Oblak. Oblak is already keen on leaving the Spanish outfit and is a Manchester United fan.

One player who Manchester United will have to forget about is Matthijs de Ligt. The young Dutchman is reportedly on the verge of signing for Ligue 1 giants PSG. Initially United and Barcelona both were credited with serious interest. However, it appears that the Ajax player has his heart set on a move to Parc des Princes.

As reported earlier, Romelu Lukaku is likely to leave Manchester United with Internazionale rumoured to be the destination.
