Napoli defender Kostas Manolas has praised his manager Carlo Ancelotti and thinks the Scudetto race will be decided on the final day.
Napoli defender Kostas Manolas is excited about the start of the 2019-2020 Italian Lega Serie A season.
He praised his coach, Carlo Ancelotti, and promised the race for the Scudetto will be decided up to the last day of play.
“Many teams are reinforcing, not just the top ones, but also the smaller clubs like Cagliari or Genoa,” Manolas he was quoted by Football Italia.
“It’s going to be a very difficult campaign and in my view, the Scudetto will be decided on the final day.”
“Watch out for Inter, as they are putting together a great squad with the likes of Stefano Sensi, Romelu Lukaku and Diego Godin,” he added.
“There are also Roma and Milan, who are just as strong, but perhaps a step back.”
“Juventus remain the favorites, inevitably after eight consecutive titles, but we’ll see what the situation looks like after the transfer market has shut. As the president says, we can have one more big swoop,” he said.
“The coach is a great person, he really impressed me with his calm demeanor and he is able to get the best out of every player because he behaves in a way I’d never experienced before. It’s the first time I have seen a coach like this.”
