According to Mario Giuffredi, the Napoli footballer might go to either Atletico Madrid or Juventus.
Mario Rui has been playing professionally since 2010 when he debuted for Benfica.
He has been moving around, either by signing a new contract of being loaned out, to teams like Parma, Empoli, Roma, and Napoli.
And one year after signing for Napoli, he’s ready to move to a new team.
“I regret that I have to find a new club for Mario Rui,” agent Mario Giuffredi told Football Italia.
“He didn’t get the recognition he deserves, he has a great season.”
“There doesn’t seem to be any wish from the club to confirm him for next year, so we will work towards his exit,” he added.
“Napoli have made plenty of contacts for many players, not only Di Lorenzo, some of the other players I represent too.”
He continued: “Perhaps Jordan Veretout is one of them, we’ll have to see, these things take time.”
“I believe Parma want to keep Luigi Sepe and Alberto Grassi, as they have both done well under coach Roberto D’Aversa, we will soon negotiate and see if the right conditions are met between the clubs.”
The agent also talked about the desire of Elseid Hysaj to leave Napoli.
“Hysaj has expressed his desire to leave, as he believes his time at Napoli has come to an end after four years and he wants a new experience,” Giuffredi said.
“He will leave, there are teams that are interested, however, the club will have to lower their €40 million asking price.”
