The team’s Sports CEO has spoken on topics such as Mauro Icardi, coach Luciano Spaletti, the stadium, and other things.

According to Internazionale Milan’s Sports CEO, Giuseppe Marotta, the Italian Lega Serie A team is always trying to improve in all competitions.

One of them is the topic about Argentinean footballer Mauro Icardi, who has had a difficult 2018-2019 season.

“Mauro Icardi is a resource and an important asset of Inter, as well as being one of the best strikers around,” Marotta was quoted by the team’s official website.

“We’ve managed a situation that is part of the dynamics of football, although the dressing room is united and we’re all focused on our objective.”

“Luciano Spalletti is our coach on full merit. He has another two years on his contract and Inter are hitting their goals – the coach is also certainly not a beginning in this profession,” he added.

“We need to place our faith in him because he’s achieving the results that we expected.”

Marotta also commented about the stadium: “It’s an important situation because it’s a fundamental asset and because it has value on both a commercial level and as a sense of belonging.”

Florenzi says Roma “can reach all goals”

The Giallorossi ended up tying 1-1 against Inter Milan in the Italian Lega Serie A as they continue in the fifth position.

“It must be a place where you can experience the passion on a daily basis. The stadium revenue is also an important element.”

“The Zhang family wants to improve year on year,” he said.

“We must support the squad with elements of quality and a winning mentality, as we are looking to do with Godin. We must find players that can have a positive impact and also help those here to grow.”
