After negotiations with Manchester United, Inter Milan are set to announce the permanent signing of Alexis Sanchez on Thursday.

Antonio Conte has delivered on his promises and it is Inter Milan’s job to reciprocate. The Nerazzurri are busy behind the scenes to reinforce the dressing room according to his wishes.

Priority numero uno is securing the services of Alexis Sanchez. Despite suffering from injuries and fitness, the Chilean has done enough to warrant an outlay for his services.

That demand is close to being realized, according to CEO Giuseppe Marotta.

Moratta reflected that Sanchez would sign permanently from Manchester United on Thursday, August 6.

In a coy manner, the experienced businessman shared that Inter will finally have the man they have been following for three seasons.

“Unofficially, we’ll make it official tomorrow morning, the player is entirely owned by Inter,” Marotta said on Sky Sport Italia

“We have a contract with him for three seasons. We believe in him, that he can be a strong part of this squad and are happy to have concluded this deal.”

Moratta also took out time to state Inter’s desire to keep Conte happy. The Italian tactician let his frustrations known and club owners took out time to talk with him.

“Anyone in the football world knows that these dynamics exist and we have to live with this way of doing things. This is an important evening for the future of Inter.”

“The owners spoke to Conte yesterday and we all want the same thing, which is to achieve great objectives and make the fans happy.”

Inter Milan welcomed Getafe for their crunch Europa League encounter. A win sees them take on the winner of Rangers and Bayer Leverkusen European affair.
