Gabriel Martinelli hints he is unfazed to hear about his transfer speculations and is focused on working hard at Arsenal.
Gabriel Martinelli has been one bright spark for Arsenal this season as he continues to shine under Mikel Arteta.
According to Football Insider, Liverpool have earmarked the 18-year old as one of their transfer targets in the summer. Earlier, Jurgen Klopp, after being impressed by Martinelli’s performances, also hailed him as ‘the talent of the century.’
Recently, Martinelli returned the Liverpool boss’ favor while calling him the best tactician on the planet. He also addressed talks of his possible move to Liverpool suggesting that he was not interested in such rumors.
“I feel very proud that one of the best tacticians in the world speaks well of me,” he told Marca.
“Now I have to remain firm, focused and continue working to achieve greater things.”
Gabriel Martinelli has also been linked with a move to Real Madrid. But the Brazilian had a similar response when asked about such links and dismissed the claims that Real Madrid have approached him. He said:
“No, nothing has come to me. I am focused here doing my job at Arsenal and my head is here.”
