AC Milan welcome their former boss Carlo Ancelotti and his Napoli side in the 13th Serie A round on Saturday afternoon.
AC Milan
The Rossoneri are heading into the fixture in disappointing form, having won just two of their last nine Serie A outings.
They are currently sitting in 14th on the league standings with a record of four wins, one draw and seven defeats in the 2019-20 campaign so far.
Stefano Poli, who has collected four points from five games since his appointment in charge at San Siro, will miss Mateo Musacchio and Samuel Castillejo through injury, as well as suspended duo Ismael Bennacer and Hakan Calkanoglu.
SSC Napoli
Carlo Ancelotti, who won four Champions League titles with AC Milan, two as a player and two as a coach, returns to San Siro without experienced left-back Faouzi Ghoulam.
The Italian tactician will be looking to end his team’s five-game winless streak across all competitions, although the Sky Blues have lost just once in their last 10 outings in Italy and Europe.
Napoli are out of the title race this season, as they trail by 13 points behind league leaders Juventus, but the points are still important for last season’s runners-up, as they are currently sitting in seventh, five points behind the top four.
Keep an eye on
Napoli captain Lorenzo Insigne is the one to watch at San Siro tomorrow evening.
The Italian forward finally managed to put an end to his one-month goal drought, when he found the net in Italy’s 3-0 win against Bosnia and Herzegovina.
