Serie A title holders Juventus continue the pursuit of their ninth consecutive Scudetto with a trip to fifth-placed Atalanta this weekend.
Italian Serie A returns following November’s international break, as Atalanta welcomes Juvenuts to the Stadio Atleti Azzurri d’Italia in Bergamo.
Atalanta will be looking to become the first team that has managed to beat Juventus in the 2019-20 campaign when they host the Italian champions on Saturday afternoon.
La Dea is currently sitting in fifth in the league standings, as they chase a second successive top-four finish.
However, Gian Piero Gasperini’s boys have only managed to win one of their past seven outings across all competitions, an impressive 7-1 victory over Udinese almost one month ago.
Still unbeaten under Maurizio Sarri, Juventus travel to Bergamo as Serie A leaders with 32 points from the opening 12 rounds of the season.
They have however won only once in their last five visits to the Atleti Azzurri d’Italia Stadium and suffered a heavy 3-0 defeat on their most recent trip there.
The Bianconeri will try to register another victory and send the pressure over to Inter, as the Nerazzurri, who trail by a single point behind their arch-rivals face Torino later on Saturday evening.
Keep an eye on
We are all really curious to see how Cristiano Ronaldo and Maurizio Sarri will solve the problem between them ahead of the 13th Serie A round.
The Italian subbed Ronaldo off twice in a row, with the explanation that his star player is struggling with a minor injury, but Ronaldo responded with four goals for his national team over the past week.
The legendary forward bagged a hat-trick vs Lithuania and scored once against Luxembourg, as Portugal booked his place at next summer’s EURO 2020. He is now just one strike away from 100 international goals.
