Premier League leaders Liverpool will be looking to maintain their unbeaten run in the competition when they host Brighton on Saturday afternoon.
Another late victory at Crystal Palace last weekend saw Liverpool stretch their unbeaten run to 30 games in top flight English football.
The Reds will have the chance to match the club’s record run of 31 games tomorrow at 16:00 (CET), against Brighton at Anfield Road.
Fabinho, who limped off with an injury in the 1-1 draw against Napoli in midweek is Jurgen Klopp’s biggest doubt for the clash with the Seagulls. Defensive duo Nathaniel Clyne and Joel Matip remain sidelined.
Brighton and Hove Albion, on the other hand, sit in 12th, having collected 15 points from the opening 13 Premier League rounds.
The Seagulls have suffered defeat in their last two league outings and won just one game on the road this season.
They will miss Colombian forward Jose Izquierdo through a knee injury, while his fellow striker Aaron Connolly will be assessed by the medical team.
Keep an eye on
As we have already mentioned in our previous previews, Sadio Mane is the one to watch at Liverpool’s games this season.
The Senegalese winger has registered 12 goals and five assists in 19 appearances across all competitions in the 2019-20 campaign.
