Manchester City welcomes Tottenham to the Etihad Stadium in the Premier League derby game this weekend, today at 18:30 (CET).
Reigning champions Manchester City will host Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League game of the weekend.
Both sides opened their 2019-20 campaigns with a victory one week ago. City thrashed West Ham United 5-0 at the London Stadium, while Harry Kane gave Spurs the three points with two late goals (3-1) against Aston Villa.
This is a perfect chance for Mauricio Pochettino’s side to show the world how serious they are in the quest to challenge the Premier League title this season.
Brazilian midfielder Fernandinho is fully fit and back in contention for Manchester City, having returned to training late following international duty at the Copa America.
Benjamin Mendy and Leroy Sane are long term absentees for the Citizens, while Aguero will be hoping to get a place back in the starting line up.

Tottenham travel to Manchester without hamstring injury victims Dele Alli and Ryan Sessegnon, as well as the suspended Juan Foyth and Son Heung-min.
Giovani Lo Celso is expected to make his Spurs debut at the Etihad this weekend, while Christian Eriksen should return to the starting XI.
What did the managers say
Manchester City head coach Pep Guardiola believes it is going to be Riyad Mahrez’s year this season.
“First of all, there is this tendency after one game, when he didn’t play as much last season, to say that now this is his season. Be calm,” urged Guardiola at a press conference.
“As I said in the last press conference in London after the game against West Ham, the only reason Riyad didn’t play quite regularly last season was because of my decision.
“For players of this type of quality, as a winger, of course it is hard to find rhythm and control. Most of the time Bernardo played and he won five titles last season and he played incredibly well.”

Mauricio Pochettino has praised Manchester City ahead of Tottenham’s clash with the Citizens.
“They are so impressive, a solid team, well-organised with a lot of quality. In the last few years they have showed their quality and it’s going to be a massive challenge for us at the Etihad. It’s tough – for both sides – and we’ll give our best and try to get a good result.
“It’s too early to start to talk about targets but we know very well it’s always important when you face a team like Manchester City to try to beat them,” he said via the club’s official website.
“We’re talking about three points like it was against Aston Villa and like it will be against Newcastle next week, but the most important thing is the feeling. We are in a period where we are building our best form but it’s important to have the mentality to go there and try to win.”
Manchester City have gone 30 years without defeat in their opening home league match in a top-flight season. They have won 16 and drawn eight since losing to Southampton in 1989.
They will be looking to win their 16th consecutive Premier League game and fifth in a row against Spurs for the first time in history.
Tottenham have taken just four points from their last nine Premier League visits to the Etihad Stadium against Manchester City (W1 D1 L7).
They could equal the club Premier League record of seven consecutive away defeats, set from August to December 2000 under George Graham.
The Citizens have won all five home games against “Big Six” sides, with an aggregate score of 15-3.
Spurs did not draw a single away game in the 2018-19 season. It happened for the first time in top-flight English football since Norwich did likewise in 1980-81.
