Italian champions Juventus will close their 2018-19 campaign tonight, with an away trip to Sampdoria.
Juventus travel to Genoa for the final round of Serie A this season, having already secured their eighth successive Scudetto.
Cristiano Ronaldo won the Serie A Player of the Year award, but Sampdoria striker Fabio Quagliarella will beat him for the Capocannoniere award, as the Italian has scored 26 goals, five more than Juventus’ biggest star.
The Blucerchiati will finish in top 10 for a third consecutive time, as they sit in ninth place on the Serie A table – heir best finish in the league since the 2014-15 season.
Defenders Joachim Andersen and Nicola Murru will the game against the Italian champions, both of them through injuries.
Head coach Giampaolo, however, doesn’t have any fresh injury concerns, as he has an almost fully-fit squad to choose from.

Long term absentees Douglas Costa, Mattia Perin, and Sami Khedira who all picked up injuries in mid-April are out of Juventus’ last trip of the 2018-19 campaign.
Joao Cancelo will join them, as he broke his nose in last week’s game against Atalanta. Mario Mandzukic and Giorgio Chiellini are also ruled out, while both Blaise Mutuidi and Federico Bernardeschi are suspended.
Cristiano Ronaldo is the final absentee of Juventus’ final game of the season, as he is getting ready to play in the UEFA Nations League finals with Portugal.
What did the managers say
Sampdoria boss Marco Giampaolo said a game against Juventus is always a match he is looking forward to, even though the season is over for his side.
“The game against Juventus is a game that gives us satisfaction, that gives stimuli. We could win twice in a row at home against the Italian champions, so there is this small goal for us. We also want to greet the fans well and celebrate Quagliarella in the right way,” he said via Sampdoria’s official website.

Max Allegri will lead the Bianconeri for the last time on Sunday afternoon, as he leaves the club at the end of the season.
“Tomorrow, Pinsoglio will play in goal. Caceres, Rugani, Chiellini, De Sciglio, Cuadrado, Emre Can, Bentancur, Pereira, Dybala, and Kean will also play. If Spinazzola recovers, he will replace Pereira,” he confirmed half of the team via the Juventus official website.
The home side plays in a really poor form, as they’ve won only one game since the start of April, suffering five defeats in the process.
Juventus players have also been more relaxed since clinching the title against Fiorentina, noting three draws and one defeat in the last four games in Serie A.
The Bianconeri won 2-1 in the reverse fixture this season, but Sampdoria managed to beat the Italian champions when they faced each other at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris in the 2017-18 campaign.
It is their only victory against the Old Lady since 2013, as Massimilano Allegri’s boys have won nine of the other 10 games they’ve played against the Blucerchiati.
