Lazio will host Roma to the Olimpico Stadium in the first Derby della Capitale of the 2019-20 Serie A campaign.
It is derby time in Rome, as the biggest two clubs of the Italian capital – Lazio and Roma go head to head in Serie A at their shared home, Stadio Olimpico.
The Biancocelesti started the new season with a comfortable 3-0 win at Sampdoria last weekend, with Ciro Immobile opening his account in 2019-20 with a brace.
Roma played an exciting 3-3 draw with Genoa in the opener, failing to hold onto the lead on three occasions during the game.
They now face their cross-town rivals Lazio, who will play host in the 173rd Derby della Capitale – scheduled at 18:00 (CET) on Sunday afternoon.
Felipe Caicedo is back in full fitness for Lazio, but is not expected to start the game, as Immobile played an extraordinary game against Sampdoria in the opener.
Ricardo Kishna who played a total of 32 minutes in the 2018-19 campaign is still recovering from the nasty injury which kept him away of the football ground for more than a year, while Jordan Lukaku is an injury doubt for Simone Inzaghi.

Diego Perotti is out for the ‘visitors’, after sustaining a thigh injury in the pre-season friendly against Real Madrid.
New signing Leonardo Spinazzola and French midfielder Maxime Gonalons are both doubtful for the Rome Derby, as they are both yet to make their first appearance in the fixture.
Talk to the press
AS Roma completed the signing of Manchester United’s defender Chris Smalling on a one-year loan deal. Here is what he said to the press after completing the move.
“As soon as I heard the interest was there, the chance to experience a new league with a big team that has got big aspirations is what I needed,” Smalling said via Roma’s official website. “I’m lucky enough to be here now.
“I think how amazing everything at the club is. The attention to detail with everything, the quality of the pitches, the media center, the facilities.
“I’ve been doing medicals most of the day but coming to the training ground and getting to see where I will be every day, where I will train, getting a feel for it all… I think it’s been a perfect day.”
The Rome rivals exchanged one victory each in the two meetings in the previous Serie A season.
Derby della Capitale is a fixture which always offers goals and exciting football. We’ve seen 37 goals in their last 12 clashes across all competitions, with only one goalless draw in the process.
Lazio will be looking to end their three-game streak without a victory at home when they meet their cross-town rivals.
The Giallorossi are also on a three-game streak without a win on the road. Their last away victory came in Sampdoria back in April.
They are also undefeated in their last 10 Serie A games, since the 4-1 trashing to Napoli at the Olimpico Stadium.
Lazio won all of their seven pre-season friendlies, as well as the season opener against Sampdoria last weekend.
Roma failed to score in the last three games against Lazio as visitors, registering two defeats and one draw.
