A new era begins for Tottenham on Wednesday night as Spurs play their first official game at the new home – the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Following nearly two years away from White Hart Lane and after a number of construction delays, Tottenham will finally get the chance to test out their new 62,062 seater arena.
They welcome Crystal Palace in the first official game at the new stadium this evening. The Spurs haven’t won a Premier League game since the start of February, losing the third position to their North London rivals – Arsenal.
Eric Dier through a hip injury and Serge Aurier (hamstring) are set to miss the historic game for Tottenham Hotspur.
Midfielder Harry Winks has overcome a groin problem and is expected to be back in the Spurs squad on Wednesday night.

Roy Hodgson doesn’t have any fresh injury concerns ahead of the clash against Mauricio Pochettino.
What did the managers say
Tottenham manager Pochettino says he is a lucky man to be a part of such a historic moment for the club.
“It’s such an important time in the history of the club. It’s going to be fantastic again to feel at home and for all the people – the chairman, the staff and for the players – it’s going to be a special moment,” he told Spurs TV.
“It’s difficult to guess how you are going to react but, knowing me, what happened at the first test event, I was so emotional… I can only say I’m a lucky man to be a part of the history of this club, a massive club, massive foundation, fans, everything is massive.
“This is our home and the feeling is amazing. It’s impossible to describe it with words. I think it’s going to make us stronger and playing in our stadium – one of the best in the world – is going to be decisive for this season and for the future of the club if we want to touch the glory.

Roy Hodgson was also full of price for the new Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
“It looks very impressive, from the type of things that have been shown on TV; a 3D presentation. It is going to be an absolute state of the art and that is what you expect,” he said via the Crystal Palace official website.
“I know Daniel Levy and his people have spent a lot of time researching other stadiums to take the best from all of those and that’s the way it tends to go with football stadia.
“Each one is the next ‘big one’ and is slightly better than the ones before because they iron out any faults and take the best bits with them. It is going to be a wonderful occasion for the people who are there and it is going to be a great occasion for the players.”
Tottenham were unbeaten in their last 19 league games at the old White Hart Lane (W17 D2), winning the last 14 in a row.
The Spurs have won their last seven Premier League meetings against Palace, six of them by a 1-0 scoreline.
Crystal Palace are winless in their last six away league meetings with Spurs, failing to score in each of the last five.
Tottenham will become the first club to play a home game at two different stadiums within a single Premier League season.
The Spurs have won only one point in the previous five Premier League games.
