Mathias Pogba has now weighed in on the future of his brother, insisting that Paul Pogba’s future is no secret and everyone knows it’s not at United.
It’s a day where Manchester United should be basking in the glory of a big win against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
Instead, they are dealing with more comments regarding Paul Pogba and his future.
Pogba has only managed seven appearances for United this season. He has been ruled out by two consecutive injuries. The latter required surgery.
While his manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has insisted the World Cup-winning Frenchman will be back, others have their doubts.
Since last summer there has been nothing other than transfer rumors and speculation following the player and his agent admitting Pogba wanted to leave United.
The fact is nobody met United’s valuation, and he still has a couple of years on his contract. He stayed with the hope of a successful season convincing him to change his mind and commit to the Red Devils.
Pogba hasn’t played, United have had a below-average season and the rumors have not gone away.
In fact, everything has got worse.
Just when United thought things could not get any worse and they could enjoy a hard-fought important victory.
Speaking to El Chiringuito TV, Mathias Pogba, Paul’s older brother said:
“Everyone knows that Paul wants to leave Manchester United.”
“He wants to play Champions League football and win titles.”
“We all know that won’t happen at United.”
“We will see what happens this summer.”
It’s not the first time Mathias has added fuel to the fire.
