Kylian Mbappé was included to Didier Deschamps’ squad for the upcoming World Cup in Russia and he admitted that it was his childhood dream to play in such a tournament – and he is excited about it becoming true.

The French youngster has had a great season so far after moving from Monaco to PSG and becoming a key man there – and winning the Ligue 1 title once again, to be said.

The former AS Monaco attacker spoke about his nomination as he said, according to ligue1.com:

“I have always dreamed of playing at a World Cup.”

“Like every kid that will watch this World Cup, I used to watch them and tell myself: ‘I magine if I was that player on the pitch.’ Now it’s become a reality and I will work hard to play as well as possible to help my team.”

“My objective? To go as far as possible because at the World Cup, it’s the team that comes first. The World Cup is a trophy that you win as a team, as a country, it’s not Kylian that will win the World Cup.”
