Scott McTominay insists that Man Utd can still win three trophies this season
The Red Devils’ last match was a huge turn of form. The Manchester United that faced Partizan was very different to its usual self. Despite being unstable in a lot of their previous matches, the Red Devils looked threatening and composed in attack. Finally, Ole Gunnar Solsjkaer’s plans look to have some effect. And Scott McTominay is quite vocal about his optimism for his team.
Scott McTominay, in a talk to the club’s official website, insisted that Manchester United are eyeing three major trophies this season including the Carabao Cup, the UEFA Europa League, and the FA Cup. McTominay, who won the Player of the Month for United, claimed that he is determined in the fight to bring glory to Old Trafford. The Scot also said that while he enjoys winning personal accolades, he preferred winning as a team.
“It’s pleasing to win a couple of individual trophies, it’s a nice feeling.”
“But it’s difficult when we’ve had a lot of games. It’s a very, very busy period and three or four of the lads could have easily won it as well. So I was fortunate and I thank the fans for voting for me.

“The more important thing is that, when it comes to the business side of the season, we’re there or thereabouts and we can win things collectively as a group. That’s what everybody is dying for in that changing room,” McTominay explained.
“We could have three trophies this season and it’s something that we’re really looking forward to and aspiring to in terms of a group and our goals as well. It’s brilliant to win player of the month, but it’s about the collective and I wouldn’t be able to win it without my team-mates.”
