Messi looking to end El Clasico goal drought 

    Lionel Messi is the top goalscorer in the history of El Clasico. The Argentinian has 21 goals against Real Madrid, 3 more than Alfredo di Stefano, but he has found it hard to score against the big rivals lately.

    Messi hasn’t scored in any of the last six games against Real Madrid. It’s been more than three years since the Argentinian has last scored against the Catalan’s arch rivals. In March 2014, Messi managed to score a hat-trick in a match that Barcelona won 4-3.

    Out of his 21 goals in El Clasicos, more than half were scored in Madrid. 12 goals (57,14%) has managed the five-time Ballon d’Or winner on Santiago Bernabeu.

    The first two goals scored by Messi on Bernabeu have come on May 2nd, 2009, in a 6-2 victory of the Catalans.
