Messi wants Neymar back prompts Barca’s third bid

Lionel Messi is understood to be the instrumental person at Barcelona who wants Neymar back at the club. Thus prompting a new third bid.

According to the Daily Express, it has been Messi himself that has been pushing the Barca hierarchy to bring back Neymar.

To the powers that be in Catalonia, on the one hand, the manner in which Neymar left the club is hard to forgive.

On the other, you have the greatest player in the clubs history, and probably one of the greatest in football history wanting him back.

They are caught between a rock and a hard place.

They know a happy Messi is instrumental to the clubs success. They also know, whether they like it or not Neymar will bring more success to the club.

The problem in simple terms is money. Barca is all out of money right now.

Their main leverage was Philippe Coutinho who just joined Bayern Munich on a season-long loan for 8 million Euros.

Antoine Griezmann, Barcelona

Simeone not interested in latest Griezmann-Barca scandal

Diego Simeone wouldn't discuss Thursday's bombshell that Antoine Griezmann negotiated a hefty commission for signing with Barcelona while still at Atletico Madrid.

PSG are demanding 250 million for Neymar. While Barca does have other players, like Ousmane Dembele. It is not thought that the players they have interest PSG.

The biggest problem with all the cash plus player deals offered to PSG from both Barcelona and Real Madrid, is they are offering players who have failed at their respective clubs.

PSG are trying to build a team that can win the Champions League and dominates world football. If they can’t make it at their respective clubs hey can’t make it in Paris.

Neymar joined in his prime, being a part of a successful Barca team. He was no bench warmer.

There has been talk of the Barca board bluffing to up ease Messi. Now the talk is Messi is almost demanding Neymar be brought back,

Barca’s only hope right now is PSG have a change of heart about the structure of the deal or the players on offer.

The possibility of a loan with a commitment to buy may be their best hope. They better hope that Coutinho impresses in Munich as that 120 million will be a huge part of the cash needed.
