Eder Militao has big asperations as he fills the breach left by suspended Sergio Ramos in Real Madrid’s Champions League clash with Manchester City.

Brazilian center back Eder Militao will likely be called upon by Zinedine Zidane to fill the defensive breach left by a suspended Sergio Ramos.

As Real Madrid prepare to take on Manchester City in the second leg of the last 16 of the Champions League, they will do so without their fearless leader Sergio Ramos.

The World Cup-winning skipper is suspended for the tie and Zidane will be forced to call on Militao to help out at the back.

Militao does not only want to fill Ramos’ defensive duties, but he dreams of scoring for Los Blancos much in the style of the absent skipper.

Speaking to AS, he has dreamt the entire thing and can’t wait to live out the reality.

He said:

“Ramos is not there and I have to show my heart, play with everything I have,” he told “It’s a really strong feeling. It is a unique moment for me.”

“I can imagine it now, in the Champions League, in Manchester. The winning goal, with a header. I wouldn’t know how to celebrate it.”

“Nothing is impossible, so I’m going to go for it.”

That some bog boots to fill, standing in for one of the best in the world is no mean feat.
