Milito hopes Tottenham can win the Champions

The former Inter Milan footballer believes Mauricio Pochettino deserves to win the UEFA Champions League this season.

Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool are playing tonight in the UEFA Champions League Final at Wanda Metropolitano Stadium in Madrid.

And for former Internazionale Milan footballer, Diego Milito, the Spurs can win the title tonight.

“Every time I come to this beautiful city, I have amazing memories,” he told Marca at the stadium.

“It’s always nice to watch the final of the most important club competition there is. I’m hoping for a good match.”

“I want Tottenham to win for [Mauricio] Pochettino, who’s Argentine and because I think he does things very well,” he added.

“But that’s not to detract from [Jurgen] Klopp, who is also a great coach.”

“It’s hard to say, maybe Liverpool with their experience,” he said.

Carragher urges Klopp to bolster Liverpool ASAP

The former English Premier League footballer believes Liverpool need new signings if they are to win the national competition someday.

“But in a final, with two English sides who know each other very well, I don’t think there’s a favorite.”

“No. Everyone has their style and coaches adapt to the players they have. [Roberto] Firmino can also play that role,” the Argentinean continued.

“He’s mobile. Both are great teams and the best made it to the final.”
