Juventus midfielder Miralem Pjanic has said that Paul Pogba would be welcome back in Turin if there’s a chance of his return to the Italian side.
The Frenchman left Juventus to re-join Manchester United in the summer of 2016 for a record transfer fee. The midfielder who attracted several interests before the start of the 2018/19 season has scored five times in 19 appearances for Manchester United this term.
The World-Cup-winner with France long-term future at Old Trafford is far from secure as Spanish giants Barcelona and his former club Juventus are strongly interested in signing him during the summer transfer window.
Pogba won four Serie A titles with Juventus between 2012 and 2016, having moved to the Italian side due to lack of playing time in old Trafford. He recently said that Turin was his home due to his successful sojourn with the Italian side.
Pjanic has claimed that it is ‘the dream of the Juventus supporters’ for Pogba to return to the club.
“It’s the dream of our fans. The club has signed some amazing players and are thinking of improving the team even more. He would be welcome again here,” Pjanic told Rai Sport as published by Sportsmole.
