Hojbjerg speechless after Southampton defeat

The Saints were defeated 2-1 by Cardiff City in the English Premier League, leaving them in the bottom three of the table.

“I’d like to think I can bring some creativity, work-rate and a few goals and assists as well.”

“The team are going for promotion so every goal matters – hopefully, I can contribute in that sense.”

Meanwhile, Southampton remain hopeful of signing Birmingham City forward Che Adams before the close of the January transfer window on Thursday night.

The English man has been linked with a host of Premier League clubs, including Burnley. However, it is believed that Birmingham are keen to retain his services until the end of the season.
