Liverpool striker Mohamed Salah is excited to announce he is the latest footballer to go on display at the famous Madame Tussaud’s wax museum.
Mo Salah has shot to superstardom with the kind of form he has demonstrated since he arrived at Liverpool.
He has been a revelation and thus his popularity has shot through the roof.
He is worshipped as a hero in his native Egypt. While he is considered one of their own by the natives of Liverpool and looked upon as royalty.
Now he is to become the first Liverpool player since Steven Gerrard to have himself immortalized in wax at the famous Madame Tussauds in London.
Speaking to the London Evening Standard Salah could hardly contain his excitement.
“I am so excited to be working with the artists of Madame Tussauds on my first ever figure.”
Tussaud’s general manager Steve Davies added:
“We know that fans will love seeing him at the home of celebrity, where he rightly belongs.”
