Moise Kean started his first game for the Italian national team, scoring in the 2-0 victory over Finland.
Juventus starlet, Moise Kean became the second-youngest player to score in an Azzurri jersey at the age of 19 years and 23 days.
The youngster made his first start for Italy and he is not planning to stop here.
“I always try to be ready and train regularly so that I’m prepared when the time comes,” he said via Football Italia.
“More than being happy, I find it extra motivation to keep working hard. There are many more records for me to beat and I intend to beat them.
“When I got the call, I was fired up, excited, happy, eager to show what I could do. Ciro (Immobile) gave me a great assist and it’s thanks to him and the whole team that I was able to score.”
Kean usually plays as a centre-forward, but the teenager is good enough to play on every attacking position.
“Wherever the Coach puts me, I am happy to play. It was a good move and I saw the gap, so I just went for it. The first goal was a huge sensation and a great moment for me.
“Obviously, training alongside my teammates at Juventus, including Cristiano Ronaldo, it’s impossible not to learn every day.”

The youngster has played for Serie A games for the Old Lady this season and scored twice in the 4-1 victory over Udinese.
Kean is a quick and physically strong forward, with good technical skills and an accurate shot. He is young, he is talented and he believes in himself.
“Kean has quality, enormous potential and it all depends on him. It’s not difficult to see talent in Kean and Nicolò Zaniolo, so it’s not a risk to pick them.” – said Italy’s head coach Roberto Mancini after the game.
