Ramon Monchi revealed he is still uncertain about a switch to Arsenal after leaving Roma by mutual consent today.
Monchi left his role as Roma’s director less than 24 hours after the club fired Coach Eusebio Di Francesco, which is believed was clearly against his wish.
The former director made out time to praise the fan base and the club for the memories at the club.
AS Roma have officially parted company with sporting director Monchi, a day after the sacking of manager Eusebio Di Francesco. Ramon Rodriguez Verdejo, known as Monchi, joined Roma in 2017 after working in a directorial role at Sevilla for 17 years,.. https://t.co/xWThORoYdo

“I want to thank everyone for giving me the opportunity to work here at Roma. There’s nothing more to say, it’s best to look forward now,” Monchi revealed in a quote cited on Football Italia as he left the Trigoria training ground for the final time.
“I wish Roma all the best of luck for the rest of the season. I hope it ends with them having achieved their objective of a top-four finish.”
Monchi declined to speak of his grievances and chose to look at the positives following his exit.
“I don’t want to talk about that, I want to think positive, which is to remember the opportunity to work in Rome and for Roma. This is not the time to think about such things, it’s the time to remember good moments.”
With rumours of a switch to London making the rounds, Monchi claims he is still undecided on linking up with former Sevilla Coach Unai Emery.
“I haven’t decided on my future yet.”
