Liverpool take lead in Koulibaly chase.

Liverpool have emerged as the new favorites to sign Napoli’s Kalidou Koulibaly. The Reds believe they can get persuade Napoli into lowering his 100 million (£90m) price tag by throwing Dejan Lovren in their offer.

Up until now, Manchester City were considered as the leading candidate to land the center-back this summer. But reports now suggest the newly crowned Premier League champions are looking to make a statement in the transfer market. [Tuttosport]

Arsenal launch shock bid for Bardhi.

Arsenal have reportedly submitted a transfer offer for Levante’s Enis Bardhi. Bardhi is also attracting interest from a number of Bundesliga club and the Gunners want to secure his services before its too late.

Inter to attempt Aguero signing.

Inter Milan are preparing to present Manchester City a swap deal involving Milan Skriniar and Sergio Aguero. Skriniar has been a long-term target for Man City and Inter believe by offering him, they can lure Sergio Aguero away from Etihad. The Argentine striker will be out of contract next summer. Man City closing in on signing Moreno.

Manchester City are on the verge of securing the signature of Juventus’ Pablo Moreno. The transfer will be a swap deal which would see 18-year old Moreno swap clubs with 19-year old Felix Correia. [Goal]

Brescia unwilling to bend on Tonali’s valuation.

Inter Milan, the club reported to be the frontrunners to sign him, are struggling to close down a deal for Sandro Tonali.

Antonio Conte’s side are keen on landing him this summer for €35 million. However, Brescia value the talented midfielder at €50 million and are unwilling to compromise on their valuation of him. [Gazzetta Dello Sport]

Benfica want Pochettino as manager.

Benfica are interested in appointing Mauricio Pochettino to take charge of the team. Pochettino’s five-year stint at Tottenham came to an end after he was sacked last year and he has been out of work ever since. [Record]
