Montreal Impact have signed former Arsenal and Manchester City defender Bacary Sagna.
The Major League Soccer outfit have completed the signing of the former City full-back on a free transfer as they seek to make the MLS Playoffs.
The former Premier League player has signed a deal with Montreal impact that will keep him at the club until the end of the last season with an option to extend for the 2019 season.
Sagna, 35, made a name for himself in the Premier League during his seven-year with the Gunners before joining Manchester City.
“I’m very happy with the arrival of Bacary into this team. He’s a player with a lot of experience who’s also motivated to help us achieve our objectives as the season draws to a close.” Impact manager Ander Herrera, according to Goal.
“His personality, experience and knowledge of the game will be a huge plus to our team.”
Montreal Impact currently sit fifth in the MLS Eastern Conference standings hoping to clinch one of the six playoff spots in the conference.
Remi Garde will be hoping his managerial experience in Europe can Montreal Impact into the MLS Playoffs.
