Moore expects more from Jurgen Klopp

The Liverpool CEO believes the German is a “world-class manager” and can deliver better results in the future.

Jurgen Klopp guided Liverpool to win the UEFA Champions League trophy against Tottenham Hotspur.

And he was just one point short of winning the English Premier League too, coming behind Manchester City.

And according to the Reds CEO Peter Moore, Klopp will be able to do more in the future.

“What has struck me in my second full season here at the club is that the chemistry and the talent within the squad – all brought together by a world-class manager - provides us with great optimism that they will bring even more silverware to this wonderful club,” Moore’s words were echoed by Goal.

“Let’s hope that as the old saying about London buses, when one comes along, there is always two or three close behind.”

“There is so much to look forward to from this brilliant team,” he added.

The former Arsenal midfielder knows the player is a true Gunners footballer, but that his work problems should be solved before anything else.

“You really cannot help but see us winning more trophies, although it is easier said than done.”

“Having said that, we have exactly the right infrastructure at Liverpool to give us a chance of making it happen,” the Liverpool CEO concluded.
