Alvaro Morata does not want to face his old club Juventus and former teammate Cristiano Ronaldo.

Alvaro Morata and his Atletico Madrid side are yet to finish the job against Liverpool in the Champions League. Atletico go to Anfield with a 1-0 lead, and Morata is fully aware the job is not done.

However, should his side progress against what he considers one of the best and favorites in the Champions League, there is someone he wants to avoid.

The Atletico striker was once on the books of Juventus. During his time at another former employer, Real Madrid he was the teammate of a certain Cristiano Ronaldo.

In an interview reported by Football Italia, he admits he would rather steer clear of them.

He said:

“I think the Bianconeri, Liverpool and Paris Saint-Germain are the favorites.”

“But nothing is for certain in the Champions League.”

“I think Liverpool and Juve are the best.”

“I prefer not to meet them [Juventus] again in the Champions League.”

Morat knows what both are all about and apparently does not fancy his chances against them.
