Jose Mourinho has revealed that Tottenham will not make any major signings in January.
Tottenham appears to have been transitioning back to their old form. Spurs are yet to drop points under their newly appointed manager Jose Mourinho. Tottenham has also jumped up the table taking the fifth position below their local rivals Chelsea.
Sporting Lisbon player Bruno Fernandes has been linked with a move to Tottenham recently. The midfielder is one of the hottest prospects for European teams.
Following the rejuvenation, Jose Mourinho has insisted that Tottenham are not going to make new big signings in the upcoming transfer window. The Portuguese dismissed talks of signing Bruno Fernandes.
“We are a different club at this level,” Jose Mourinho said as per Daily Mail.
“We are not a club that is going to make big transfers in the market. Nor is it going towards players who are already developed or at a certain level of expectation, also economically,” the Portuguese manager explained.
“I would definitely say no because Bruno (Fernandes) is a player of a level and value that is not for us,” Mourinho insisted.
