Jose Mourinho was just announced as the new Tottenham manager this morning after Daniel Levy sacked the team’s long-term boss, Mauricio Pochettino.

With Spurs sitting in the bottom part of the Premier League, Jose Mourinho will have his hands full.

And while we’re sure he can manage his team on the pitch, Portuguese’s words from 2015 tell a different tale of his career management.

“The Special One” spoke about the prospect of taking over at Tottenham. According to Daily Mail, Mourinho said:

“I would not take the job because I love Chelsea supporters too much.”

It should be interesting to see how Chelsea fans react after they hear the latest news. One thing is for sure; Mourinho doesn’t leave anyone with a straight face, no matter what he does.
