RB Leipzig boss Julian Nagelsmann has moved to rubbish reports that Timo Werner has refused to turn out for the club in the Champions League.
The player was said to have refused to participate in the club’s remaining Champions League fixtures.
The Bundesliga side’s manager Julian Nagelsmann insists that these rumors are not true. The player is still a crucial part of all his plans for the remainder of the season in all competitions.
According to Goal, he said:
“Timo is currently, as usual, in my plans to play the Champions League.”
“He is our player and has not signed for anyone else.”
“His importance to RB Leipzig is extraordinary. He has an incredibly good goalscoring rate, which you always hope for from a striker.”
Frank Lampard is said to be spending big this summer. Who else will join Werner at Stamford Bridge this summer?
