Radja Nainggolan spent just a season at Inter after moving from Roma where he made a name for himself with his endless running.
However, Nainggolan’s season at Inter was full of ups and downs.
Still, Radja played a big role as he scored the goal that would secure the Champions League spot for Inter.
And when he was ready to make an even bigger impact this season, Nainggolan was unwanted at Inter.
In an interview with DAZN, quoting Calcio Mercato, Nainggolan looked back on his summer saga.
“I did not expect that then I would no longer be an Inter player, we left for the holidays and Marotta had not told me anything.
“Then I was called to a meeting at the end of June and they told me they would make other choices.
“I would have liked to be coached by Conte, I worked with him a month and in a month I can’t judge anyone but I really saw all his determination.”
Even though he didn’t score in four appearances, which he tends to do even as a midfielder, the team is doing very well at 7th in Serie A.
On the other end, Conte is doing bits as Inter looks like a true title-challenger after opening eight fixtures, winning seven matches in the process.
