Matteo Politano has completed his move from Inter to join Serie A rivals Napoli, the Partenopei have announced via their official website.
As per the report, Politano has left the Nerazzurri and joined the Partenopei on a 18-month loan move.
However, the transfer includes an obligation to buy the 26-year-old at the end of the loan.
There were no official sums revealed from either of the clubs statements.
Although several reports in Italy hint that the transfer is worth €23-25 million in favor of the Nerazzurri.
The former Sassuolo man signed a contract with Napoli which could keep him at the club until the end of June 2023.
The Italian international joined Inter in the summer of 2018 from Sassuolo for an undisclosed fee.
Since joining the Nerazzurri, Politano has featured 63 times across all competitions, scoring six goals in the process.
Politano move could benefit both parties
Politano has struggled to find consistent playing time under Antonio Conte’s tutelage and Napoli are looking for some sort of consistency after a disappointing season by their own standards.
